About us
Although few will admit it, courts essentially operate on a commercial basis. The litigants pay the price of the service - the court fee - and expect a quick and clear service - justice. However, it is often not easy or quick for her to come to terms with court proceedings. Although people may not be happy with the way the courts work, they usually mistakenly believe that there is no other way to go.
Entrepreneurs around the world have encountered similar problems in the past. Gradually, they created alternative methods of dispute resolution - especially arbitration. Although this is an effective, affordable and uncomplicated method, ensuring a smooth process is not entirely easy. An ad hoc arbitrator acting alone can hardly guarantee the settlement of claims from a single plaintiff with a diversified clientele, much less from multiple entities. Apparently, he will not even be able to stably provide this service comprehensively to entities using arbitration, to implement the rules of arbitration into the corporate culture in a high-quality manner, to resolve the situation before filing an arbitration claim, and at the same time to ensure his independence. In addition, it cannot provide another effective way of resolving disputes - mediation.
These services can only be covered by a service organization providing administrative and other support to joint arbitrators. They can thus fully concentrate on their mission - solving and deciding disputes. We are pleased that it is thanks to our support that these independent experts can do their professional work and strive - if at least somewhat possible - to lead the parties to the dispute to an amicable solution.
In accordance with our philosophy, we also strive to raise the awareness of entrepreneurs about arbitration and to dispel some erroneous myths about it. Therefore, we not only organize our own educational events focused on the use of arbitration in practice, but also participate in professional and business conferences, workshops and seminars, during which we introduce interested parties to this modern method of resolving and preventing disputes. As far as education is concerned, we also think about the future and support talented law students who, for example, participate in international competitions focused specifically on alternative dispute resolution methods.
